Welcome
We are the PorterBots, the competitive face of an after-school applied engineering program based out of Lockport Township High School (LTHS), in Lockport, Illinois.
This program is dedicated to the mission put forth by FIRST; to engage and inspire young people to pursue STEM related fields, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. We strive to accomplish these goals by providing hands-on opportunities to engage in engineering challenges, working alongside industry professionals, and serving our communities.
Our program runs year-round thanks to several volunteer coaches, mentors working in various STEM fields, and the graciousness of multiple corporate and community sponsors.
